The answer to your question was given in the following topic page:
http://ramsete.forumfree.net/?t=40631678The first post was in Italian, indeed, so now I am going to translate it to English for you.
Basically, the demo version is Ramsete Lite, with a lock on parameters affecting the computation accuracy, such as number of pyramids, number of discrete early reflections, etc.
All these parameters appear on the Ramsete Tracer user's interface: although you appear to be able to change them, the software will ignore the changes, while running in demo mode.
However, if you are dealing with outdoor applications, there is a simple trick for restoring a reasonable accuracy: use more sources!
If for example you are modeling a road as a long line of point sources, with the paid version of Ramsete you could insert a source every 10 meters, and fire 256 pyramids from each source. In demo version, you could still make a sensible simulation inserting a source every meter, and leaving the standard 16 pyramids per source... If you want a better accuracy, space the sources 0.5m, or even less....
Of course, the more the sources, the smaller need to be their sound power...
The "demo" mode does not gray out any option: the things grayed out, are grayed also in Ramsete Lite. Only upper versions "Classic" and "Ramsete II" have some or all of these features available..
And if you want to explore the full version, you could always crack Ramsete.

This could even be perfectly lawful, depending on the laws in your country...
Bye!
